The Global 33rd Ward |
|

Chicago's 33rd Ward is one of the most diverse in the city - with more than 40 languages spoken in the Ward's public schools. Annisa Wanat speaks Spanish, Bulgarian, Serbian, and German which, as Alderman, will enable her to communicate directly with more of her constituents.
In addition, learning foreign languages has taught Annisa how to approach subjects from different angles and enables Annisa to better understand other's points of views. With such a diverse Ward, this multi-cultural background will make her a better advocate of all her constituents' needs in City Council.
